Undergraduate entry requirements

 Completion of HSSC (10+2) with an average of 50% for CBSE, ICSE, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Karnataka or 50% from West Bengal (all other boards 60%)IELTS 5.5 for Information Systems and Computing (or 5.0 for extended programme) or 65% from HSSC for CBSE or ICSE boardIELTS 6.0 for Business and Management and Economics and Finance (or 5.5 for extended programme) or 70% from HSSC for CBSE or ICSE boardMaths grade 70% from grade 10 for ALL courses EXCEPT the Finance and Accounting pathway which requires 75% (or enrol in extra Maths module at LIBT)

*Entry requirements for the Diploma of Economics & Finance are the same as for the Diploma of Business and Management, but with the following additional requirements:-

  • A grade of 75% at standard X (CBSE / ICSE boards) or the equivalent is required for direct entry to the Diploma
  • Students wishing to transfer to Year 2 of the BSc Finance and Accounting must additionally have a minimum of 70% at Standard XII (CBSE / ICSE boards) or the equivalent.

**Entry requirements for the International Foundation (Economics) are the same as for the International Foundation (Business), but with the following additional requirements:-

  • A grade of 75% at standard X (CBSE / ICSE boards), or the equivalent, is required for transfer to the Diploma of Economics and Finance programme. If this has not yet been reached then a score of 60% must be gained on the LIBT BUS 104 Mathematics module
  • Students wishing to transfer to Year 2 of the BSc Finance and Accounting must additionally have a minimum of 70% at Standard XII (CBSE / ICSE boards) or the equivalent.
Note: mature age students (21+) may be admitted into an undergraduate programme without meeting the formal academic requirements if they have extensive, relevant work experience and/or acceptable/comparable qualifications. This is assessed on a case-by-case basis.

An undergraduate degree with Honours, from an Institution recognised by Brunel University, at a level equivalent to a UK higher 3rd class (40%-50% overall or equivalent GPA)
