Entry Requirements

Additional Entry requirements for students following the Economics and Finance stream
*Entry requirements for the Diploma of Economics & Finance are the same as for the other Diplomas, but with the following additional requirements:-
- A GCSE Maths grade B or the local equivalent is required
- Students wishing to transfer to Year 2 of the BSc Finance and Accounting must additionally have A-level Maths minimum of Grade C or the local equivalent.
**Entry requirements for the International Foundation (Economics and Finance) are the same as for the other International Foundation Programmes, but with the following additional requirements:-
- A GCSE Maths grade B or the local equivalent is required for transfer to the Diploma of Economics and Finance programme. If this has not yet been reached then a score of 60% must be gained on the LIBT BUS 104 Mathematics module
- Students wishing to transfer to Year 2 of the BSc Finance and Accounting must additionally have A-level Maths minimum of Grade C or the local equivalent.

Note: mature age students (21+) may be admitted into an undergraduate programme without meeting the formal academic requirements if they have extensive, relevant work experience and/or acceptable/comparable qualifications. This is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Postgraduate Requirements
A current IELTS score of 6.0 (or equivalent) with a minimum of 6.0 in both reading and writing; and

A current IELTS score of 5.5 (or equivalent); and
|
An undergraduate degree with Honours, from an Institution recognised by Brunel University, at a level equivalent to a UK lower 2nd class (52% overall or equivalent GPA) and passes in all final year modules
or

An undergraduate degree with Honours, from an Institution recognised by Brunel University, at a level equivalent to a UK higher 3rd class (40%-50% overall or equivalent GPA)
or
|
A recognised Bachelors degree (minimum 3 years) with results of 65%+ (or equivalent GPA). This applies only to countries that do not offer an Honours year.
or
|
A recognised Bachelors degree (minimum 3 years) with results of 60%+ (or equivalent GPA). This applies only to countries that do not offer an Honours year.
or

A recognised 3 year Diploma with a minimum of 2 years work experience post graduation*

A recognised 3 year Diploma with an overall mark of at least 80% (or equivalent GPA) and a minimum of 1 years work experience post graduation
