Further Entry Requirements for Economics and Finance

*Entry requirements for the First Year University Studies in Economics & Finance are the same as for the other programmes, but with the following additional requirements:-

  • A GCSE Maths grade B or the local equivalent is required
  • Students wishing to transfer to Year 2 of the BSc Finance and Accounting must additionally have A-level Maths minimum of Grade C or the local equivalent.

**Entry requirements for the International Foundation programme in Economics and Finance are the same as for the other International Foundation Programmes, but with the following additional requirements:-

  • A GCSE Maths grade B or the local equivalent is required for transfer to the First Year University Studies in Economics and Finance programme. If this has not yet been reached then a score of 60% must be gained on the LIBT BUS 104 Mathematics module
  • Students wishing to transfer to Year 2 of the BSc Finance and Accounting must additionally have A-level Maths minimum of Grade C or the local equivalent.
