Undergraduate entry requirements

International Foundation Programme**	Diploma programmes*
Completion of WASSCE with an average of five credit grades C6 or above	Completion of WASSCE with average of five credit grades C5 or above; Completion of National Diploma with minimum Lower Credit grade.

*Entry requirements for the Diploma of Economics & Finance are the same as for the Diploma of Business and Management, but with the following additional requirements:-

A WASSCE grade C4 at Mathematics is required
Students wishing to transfer to Year 2 of the BSc Finance and Accounting must additionally have a minimum of Grade B3 at WASSCE Mathematics.

**Entry requirements for the International Foundation (Economics) are the same as for the International Foundation (Business), but with the following additional requirements:-

A WASSCE grade C4 at Mathematics is required for transfer to the Diploma of Economics and Finance programme. If this has not yet been reached then a score of 60% must be gained on the LIBT BUS 104 Mathematics module
Students wishing to transfer to Year 2 of the BSc Finance and Accounting must additionally have a minimum of Grade B3 at WASSCE Mathematics.

Note: mature age students (21+) may be admitted into an undergraduate programme without meeting the formal academic requirements if they have extensive, relevant work experience and/or acceptable/comparable qualifications. This is assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Postgraduate entry requirements

Pre-Masters Business & Management	Pre-Masters Information Systems & Computing
A minimum grade C6 in WASSCE English Language and	A minimum grade C6 in WASSCE English Language and
An undergraduate degree with Honours, from an Institution recognised by Brunel University, at a level equivalent to a UK lower 2nd class (52% overall or equivalent GPA) and passes in all final year modules	An undergraduate degree with Honours, from an Institution recognised by Brunel University, at a level equivalent to a UK higher 3rd class (45%-50% overall or equivalent GPA)

Note: mature age students with significant post-graduation work experience may be admitted into an postgraduate programme without meeting the formal academic requirements. This is assessed on a case-by-case basis.

I am studying the Diploma of Information Systems and Computing at LIBT. When l arrived on the Brunel campus from Ghana my original preconceptions about LIBT changed dramatically. I now perceive her as a ‘United Nations school’ because of her multinational students and staff body.

LIBT acts as a fast-track bridge into Brunel University, which is ranked among the best 30 schools in the UK. Students have access to the University’s facilities. LIBT gives you an interactive study environment, friendly and supportive academic staff and innovative teaching facilities.

Living and studying in London means you have the advantage of learning in a multicultural society and there are diverse employment opportunities during vacations. I’ve enjoyed using the excellent transport system.

As a staunch Christian, the Christian union and other groups on campus have been very helpful to me.
