*Entry requirements for the Diploma of Economics & Finance are the same as for the Diploma of Business and Management, but with the following additional requirements:-
A GCSE Maths grade B is required
Students wishing to transfer to Year 2 of the BSc Finance and Accounting must additionally have A-level Maths minimum of Grade C or the local equivalent.
**Entry requirements for the International Foundation (Economics) are the same as for the International Foundation (Business), but with the following additional requirements:-
A GCSE Maths grade B is required for transfer to the Diploma of Economics and Finance programme. If this has not yet been reached then a score of 60% must be gained on the LIBT BUS 104 Mathematics module

Why did you decide to study at LIBT?
Brunel is in the top third of all UK Universities but did not have a Feb intake so LIBT there was there to help. I can save time and money
What factor most attracted you to LIBT and Brunel? Ranking, location, helpfulness of LIBT staff, Brunel sports and leisure facilities, work placements and top class university accommodation
What do you like about living in London and the UK?
It is a nice experience…London is a multi cultural environment…we meet lots of different people for all over the world…..as a student you get many advantages
Would you encourage other international students to study at LIBT? Why?
Yes as the LIBT staff are so welcoming. If you get a degree from a top class university like Brunel it’ll be getting a value added degree and definitely help you find a good job.

Why did you choose to study at LIBT and Brunel?
I was originally just searching for colleges and universities in London because my dad wanted me to study here. Then I saw LIBT, decided to apply, got my offer, and came here.

Do you think the offer of flexible start dates is attractive to international students? Why?
Of course it is attractive. In different countries semesters start in different months. So instead of waiting until September, students can get into any of the three semesters.

Why did you decide to study at LIBT?
I had never studied Business before so I decided to get some basic knowledge from the LIBT foundation, and I feel that I made a good decision.

Did the offer of flexible start dates (as opposed to the traditional September start date) influence your decision? Please state how or why.
Yes. I got an offer from an LIBT staff member. He came to Sri Lanka in October last year and he gave me the chance to start my studies in February. It was a good option for me…without having to wait longer
Would you encourage other international students to study at LIBT? Why?
Yes. I feel LIBT is good for international students, because all students here come from different countries. Lecturers are also so friendly.
