Junaid Miandad
BSc Business and Management (Marketing)
I chose LIBT because I wanted to boost my English and study skills whilst doing the first year of a business degree. Although I had achieved an A grade in English at GSCE’s, English in the UK is totally different. The compulsory study skills module at LIBT really helped me to bridge that gap.
LIBT also appealed to me because Brunel University is recognised worldwide. When I finish my studies I want to go into sports Marketing and Advertising. My studies in Business and Management will widen my knowledge in this field and help me to get a good job.
I was pleasantly surprised by the relaxed and friendly attitude shown to international students when I arrived in the UK. The classes at LIBT are really friendly and supportive. I come from a very close-knit family so being able to come to a small, friendly school like LIBT was very important to me. At LIBT I never felt isolated – I felt like I had left one home and come to another one

I started my course in February which was more flexible for More flexibility for entry, because not everyone wants to wait for a September start date”

I am the main player of the table tennis team at Brunel and so far we have won against LSE and UCL. Brunel also has got a good employment record, which encourages me to find a good job after completing my degree. When I finish my degree I will join my Father's business and will try and extend it to all parts of the globe".

“I chose to study at Brunel and LIBT because the University has a very good reputation. The environment on campus is very cosmopolitan and the location is very central to my home. There are a number of facilities that I use often on campus including the library, which is very useful for projects, the soccer field as I am a member of the soccer club and the prayer room for Muslims. My favourite subject is management. I have gained some very thorough knowledge in this class
Asim Rehman- Diploma of Business and Management + BSc Business and Management
“I chose to study at LIBT and Brunel because LIBT helps students to get admission to the degree program directly with no need to do a foundation course which is a waste of one year. This is especially relevant for international students. Going abroad to study is always very daunting but in LIBT you feel very comfortable, as everyone is keen to help you in every aspect. The University has everything you want - I am a member of the Brunel cricket team and there is also a Muslim student union with prayer rooms for Muslim male and females separately”
