The LIBT Study Programme commences at 9.30am on the Monday before classes start. The date is indicated on your Offer Letter. All new students must attend this programme as it not only helps you to settle in and meet other students, but also includes detailed enrolment procedures and timetable selection.
What happens during this week? - You receive an arrival kit that contains a schedule for the Study Programme, course information, student diary and handbook
- Be introduced to a range of services and facilities LIBT offers
- Register and enrol into your classes (receive your timetable)
- Information on how to purchase textbooks
- Obtain your Student ID Card
- Meet new friends before commencing study and be introduced to your student mentor
Attend information sessions such as:
- How to create your computer account
- Opening a bank account in the UK
- Public Transport (including information on student discounts)
- Campus tours
Ensure that you bring your passport and a pen with you to your Study programme! What Happens if I miss the Study programme? If you are unable to arrive on time for your Study programme or before the commencement of the semester, you must notify LIBT and seek permission for a late arrival. Students who arrive late have less opportunity to select the subjects and classes they wish to take during that semester.
