At LIBT we recognize the importance of safe and comfortable accommodation.  For many of our students the decision to study at LIBT will be the first time they have lived away from their family and friends for a long period of time.  For this reason we offer a range of accommodation options so that all of our students feel they have a home away from home.  This not only allows students to concentrate on their studies but also makes the experience of living and learning in another country all the more enjoyable.

Option1: On-campus accommodation
Please Note that on-campus accommodation is currently available for over 18's only.
LIBT students are offered accommodation in the Brunel University Halls of Residence on a first-come, first-served basis.  The Halls of Residence are located on both the Uxbridge and the Runnymede campuses of Brunel University.  LIBT students share the Halls with Brunel University students.  Accommodation is in the form of single-study bedrooms (i.e. one person in one room).  Standard (washbasin in room) and en-suite (washbasin, shower and WC in room) accommodation is available. Bedding is provided and bed linen is changed once per week – this service is included in your weekly rent.  All accommodation is self-catering with shared use of the kitchen.  The kitchens are equipped with cookers, fridge, freezer and kettle.  All rooms have free broadband access through the University server.

Option2: Off-campus accommodation

Homestay
Homestay is recommended for under 18's.
Students who choose the Homestay option live with an English host family.  This is a great way for students to learn about British culture whilst improving their English at the same time.  Please contact Elle Kirkman at LIBT for a list of agencies specializing in homestay placements. 

Brunel University Housing Office
The University Housing office offers advice and assistance in finding suitable accommodation off campus in the local Uxbridge area.  These properties are carefully selected by the Housing Office to provide good quality accommodation for students.  To contact the Brunel University off-campus accommodation office please click here.

International Student House
LIBT students have access to accommodation at International Students House (ISH) located at Regents Park in central London.  Located in the heart of London, ISH has over 100 nationalities living in the house.  Students choosing this accommodation option would need to get public transport to LIBT.  For further information on ISH please click here.
