The Student Council - news and views

LIBT STUDENT COUNCIL

The LIBT Student Council was formed to give LIBT students a formal avenue for making suggestions and resolving difficulties, and to provide a strong student-led voice for the LIBT student body.

The LIBT Student Council has many interesting plans for social activities for this semester. Just some of them are as follows:

Paintball Team - LIBT is forming its own paintball team and will attend this activity with other Brunel students/societies. The first event will be in the middle of March. Alex and Ruhin are working on this.

Football Match - The Student Council is arrange the first in a series of LIBT football matches - Justice is leading on this. It could be Foundation students vs Diploma students or Asian students vs African students. No doubt the first match will be very competitive and the winners will get free Odeon cinema tickets! This match will take place at the Brunel campus at the beginning of April.

Day Trip - The Council is currently organising a trip to the famous Thorpe Park. This trip will be in the middle of April. Melissa (LIBT Student Support Officer), Adli and Ruhin are working on this.
