How to accept your LIBT Offer of Admission

How do I accept my Offer of Admission into LIBT? 

Once you have submitted your application form and supporting documents you will have received an offer of admission into LIBT.  This offer may be conditional or unconditional.  Please check the conditions of the offer before completing the acceptance process to make sure you are able to meet the conditions of your offer.  If you have any queries regarding the conditions of your offer, please contact the Admissions Office at LIBT.

The acceptance process:

To confirm your place at LIBT you should:

  • Complete and return the Student Acceptance Form (supplied with your offer of admission) to the LIBT Admissions Office.
  • Pay your tuition deposit as listed on page 2 of your offer of admission.  Please see page 2 of this document for payment methods.


Upon receipt of your acceptance form and tuition fee deposit we will issue your Visa Support Document which you will need if you are applying for UK student visa

We will also issue a Welcome Pack which consists of our Pre-Arrival Guide and a Welcome Letter giving you important information about the commencement of your programme. 
Please make sure you read the Welcome letter and Pre-Arrival Guide carefully prior to the commencement of your programme at LIBT.

Please note all documents will be emailed and couriered to you or your agent (if you applied through an LIBT representative).

Accommodation booking:

LIBT is able to offer on-campus accommodation to all students who have confirmed their place (returned acceptance form with tuition deposit).  If you would like to book a room within on-campus accommodation you should complete the following process:

  • Complete and return the Accommodation request form (supplied with your offer of admission) to the LIBT Admissions Office
  • Pay your £200 accommodation deposit.  Please note this can be added onto your tuition deposit as LIBT can transfer these fees directly to the Accommodation Office at Brunel University on your behalf.  Alternatively you can make a cheque payable to ‘Brunel University’ for £200.

Please forward all accommodation application documents and payments to LIBT.

Upon receipt of your completed Accommodation Request Form and accommodation deposit, the LIBT Admissions Office will issue an Accommodation Confirmation Letter which will provide full details of your accommodation booking and room allocation process.

Pre-Arrival Checklist (Please make sure you have completed the following):

  • I have met the conditions of my offer of admission or am able to meet these prior to the course commencement
  • I have returned my completed Student Acceptance Form to the LIBT Admissions Office
  • I have received a Welcome Pack and have read the Welcome Letter and Pre-Arrival Guide
  • I understand when I have to arrive at LIBT to commence my programme of study
  • If I require on-campus accommodation I have completed the application process and have received confirmation about my accommodation booking from LIBT and the Brunel University Accommodation Office
  • I have completed my Airport Arrival Form (if arriving within operation period) and returned this to LIBT.  Please see the Airport Arrival Form for further details).

Payment methods:

  • Cheque / bankers drafts: Please make cheque / bankers drafts payable to ‘London IBT Ltd’ (except the £200 accommodation deposit which if paying by cheque should be made payable to ‘Brunel University’)
  • Telegraphic Transfer (TT): Please use the LIBT Bank Account Details below to pay by telegraphic transfer.  Please note your student ID as detailed on your offer of admission as a reference on the transfer so we can allocate the funds easily
  • Debit / credit cards: Currently we can only accept payments by debit / credit card in person at LIBT.  Please note there is a 2% surcharge on credit card payments.
  • LIBT is unable to accept payments by cash.  If you wish to pay your tuition fees by cash you should go in person to a HSBC bank and pay the funds into our LIBT account (details below).

Students with an LIBT offer of admission which includes a Pre-sesional English Language Course at the IPC.

Students who have been offered a place at LIBT conditional upon the completion of an English language course at the International Pathways Centre (IPC) will need to pay their IPC fees to LIBT (as detailed on page 2 of your offer letter).  LIBT will then confirm your enrolment in the IPC course with the IPC and request visa supporting documentation on your behalf.  We will include this documentation with the relevant LIBT documentation which we will forward to you by email and courier. 

Please note that all pre-arrival arrangements will be made by the IPC Admissions Officer.  Further details will be provided when you accept your place however for further information, please contact the LIBT Admissions Office.
